Somalisa Acacia is one of the few camps in Hwange to cater specifically towards families.

THE CAMP

Somalisa Acacia has just four tented rooms, two of them designed for families with inter-leading walkways between the parents and children’s rooms which are both en-suite. Each tent includes gauze sling doors offering 180-degree views of the surrounding bush. The main area is open-sided, in order to take full advantage of the small waterhole in front of camp. The swimming pool is great for those hot summer days and is also famous to elephants, buffalo, giraffe and even lion who come down to drink.
