Robins offers an exciting revival of an original Hwange rest camp. Situated in the rugged northern Basalt area, rich in history but also in natural water with seeps, springs and the Deka River, it is the home to some of the last great buffalo herds in Africa, with herds of over 2000. Given the abundance of prey, it is no wonder that it also has the highest concentration of lion in the Park. A camp that welcomes children of all ages and self-drivers, it is the best value for money inside the Park.

THE CAMP
The camp offers 18 acacia chalets under thatch and 16 mopani chalets offering a more contemporary design. All rooms are comfortable, clean with a fresh African look and feel. The camp is fenced off with open spaces of green grass and lots of trees. The swimming pool overlooks a small waterhole as well and the rustic hyena bar is great for an evening drink. The camp also has a separate campsite with clean ablution facilities.
