GREAT GAME VIEWING ON ITS DOORSTEP

Sitting on a private reserve adjacent to the Southeast portion of Hwange, Bomani offers exclusive game viewing and more freedom of movement where off roading as well as night drives are allowed. A simple lodge with no frills, clean and comfortable, the camp offers the traditional safari activities but mainly focuses on individual experiences. Choose to be woken with coffee in bed, arrive in the Park by rail or opt for a relaxing arm chair safari. The lodge also offers the chance to engage in their “pump-run”. A full day is spent travelling by vehicle from waterhole to waterhole, spotting wildlife along the way and taking in a visit to a local school and village.

THE CAMP

Overlooking the Bomani Pan, the main area is built on a viewing platform and is comprised of a simple open dining room, bar area and lounge. The camp has four room styles; the simplest option being the five Saddle-Bill tents, raised a meter above the ground on wooden decks with balconies. The four Spurwing tents are slightly larger in size and have an extra fly sheet to cool down the air during those hot summer days. One Sable Suite, great for families offering two separate en-suite rooms and a lounge area. Then lastly a thatched bungalow with two rooms, built from brick unlike any other rooms which have canvas, overlooking the famous Ngamo Plains.
