THE CAMP

Somalisa's communal area is comprised of several open-sided Bedouin-style tents covering a large lounge, bar and dining area. The camp has seven elegant sail tents spread out in a large arc with modern appointments such as a fan, wood-burning fireplace and a private viewing deck. The bathroom is worthy of a special mention, inspired by the romance of yesteryear, boasting indoor and outdoor bathrooms and featuring a copper slipper-style bathtub overlooking endless views across the vast plains beyond. Somalisa's pool is world famous for drawing elephants in for an up close experience.
