Situated amongst granite boulders and mopane forest in the northern part of Hwange, Deteema overlooks a beautiful terrain of rugged hills and natural springs where animals flock during the shoulder and dry seasons. The camp has amazing sightings of elephants coming down to drink fresh water and offers a great base for game drives in all directions.

THE CAMP
With only eight rooms, the intimate eco-camp is designed the classic safari style way with well situated canvas tents. A maze of wooden decks combine the open plan living area to all luxury rooms. Tents are simple in style and raised to offer beautiful views of the natural Deteema Springs that is a key water source in the area, bringing great game viewing (from the comfort of your bed!).
