Located in the private Linkwasha Concession – one of the most prolific wildlife areas in Hwange National Park, Davison's is hidden beneath a grove of false mopane trees. A small classic safari style camp with an African décor and earthy colours, the camp isn't as luxurious as its neighbouring camps but offers warm service and front-seat access to a wildlife show. All rooms overlook an open plain and waterhole extremely popular with wildlife, especially in dry winter months where it is not uncommon to see hundreds, if not thousands of elephants and buffaloes in one day.

THE CAMP

Rustic African décor and earthy colours predominate in all nine classic tents as well as the spacious lounge and dining areas. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. An expansive deck with an open campfire invites evenings of storytelling and stargazing where Davison's pool promises refreshment and a relaxing midday armchair safari. All areas of the camp point to an experience beyond the camp overlooking an open plain and waterhole, popular drinking spot for elephant and buffalo.
